The Seneca County Collaborative and OhioMeansJobs Seneca County are partnering to host a resource and job fair to support employees who may be impacted by the potential closure of the Toledo Molding & Die facility in Tiffin.
While efforts remain underway to assist with the potential sale of the operation, this event is being organized to ensure employees have access to employment opportunities and workforce resources if the closure moves forward.
The event will be held at the North Central Ohio Educational Service Center, 928 West Market Street, in Tiffin on the following dates:
Thursday, April 23 | 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM
Friday, April 24 | 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Employers seeking to hire are invited to participate and connect with skilled workers from a wide range of manufacturing, technical, administrative, and operational backgrounds. Workforce resource partners will also be present to provide support services, including job placement assistance, training opportunities, and workforce development programs.
Lona Helfrich with the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services will be on site as the Rapid Response representative for our region, providing information on unemployment benefits, retraining programs, and other workforce support services available through the state.
Employers and resource partners are encouraged to participate and connect with individuals seeking employment opportunities. For convenience, employers and resource organizations may leave their materials and displays set up overnight at the facility between Thursday and Friday’s sessions.
