The 2026 Seneca County Skills Showcase gives local employers the opportunity to connect directly with Seneca County high school freshmen and introduce them to the careers, skills, and industries available right here in our community.
The 2026 Seneca County Skills Showcase will take place at Vanguard-Sentinel Career & Technical Center at 793 E Clinton Township Road 201, Tiffin, OH 44883.
Last year, more than 600 students from seven local school districts participated in the event, connecting with 22 local employers representing industries including healthcare, manufacturing, logistics, distribution, and more.
Employers are invited to create an interactive, hands-on experience that gives students a firsthand look at the skills used in their business or industry. Activities can include demonstrations, challenges, simulations, tools, equipment, problem-solving exercises, or other experiences that help students better understand what a future career could look like.
The Skills Showcase is designed to introduce students to career opportunities early in their high school experience while helping local employers build awareness of their industries and strengthen Seneca County's future workforce pipeline.
The cost to participate is $30 per employer. Registration fees help cover event expenses and prizes for participating students.
Each registration includes one employer table. Additional tables are available at no additional cost.

Employers are encouraged to make their table as interactive as possible. The most impactful experiences allow students to try a skill, complete a task, solve a problem, or experience something directly connected to the work your organization does.
