DESCRIPTION:The 2027 Seneca County Skills Showcase will take place on Friday\, October 1\, at Sentinel Career and Technology Center in Tiffin. Local employers are invited to connect with Seneca County high school freshmen and introduce them to the careers\, skills\, and opportunities available right here in our community.The Showcase gives students a chance to explore careers through interactive\, hands-on activities. Employers can offer challenges\, simulations\, demonstrations\, or problem-solving exercises that allow students to try a skill used in their workplace. Activities should help students understand what your business does and the types of careers it offers.Businesses may host one or more activity stations\, with representatives available at each station to guide students and answer questions. If your business offers several career paths\, consider providing separate activities that highlight those opportunities.Registration is $30 per business\, regardless of the number of representatives or activity stations. Please submit one registration using your primary contact's information. During registration\, you will provide your planned number of activity stations and representatives\, describe your activities\, and identify electricity or other setup needs. Individual names and email addresses for additional representatives are not required.Event instructions\, setup information\, and the final schedule will be emailed to your primary contact before the Showcase.By participating\, you can help students discover interests\, connect classroom learning to the workplace\, and see a future for themselves in Seneca County.
