Nonprofit Leadership Alliance | Advocacy in Action: Engaging Local Leaders

Join the Seneca Regional Chamber & Development and United Way of North Central Ohio for the third Nonprofit Leadership Alliance quarterly meeting of 2026 on Friday, August 14 at 11 AM, hosted at Osceola Theatre at Tiffin University. This session is designed for nonprofit leaders, staff, and board members who want to better understand local decision-making and strengthen their ability to advocate for their organizations and the communities they serve.

The featured topic, “Advocacy in Action: Engaging Local Leaders,” will bring together local and state leaders for a moderated discussion focused on public priorities, community challenges, and opportunities for collaboration with the nonprofit sector. Attendees will gain insight into how decisions are made and how nonprofits can effectively engage with elected officials and public leaders.

The second half of the session will offer an interactive opportunity for nonprofit attendees to connect directly with the panelists—asking questions, sharing challenges, and practicing advocacy in a supportive, relationship-focused setting.

These meetings are free and open to all nonprofit employees and board members in Seneca County. Chamber & Development membership is not required.
